Help Blair have quality of life by having an infusion of Anakinra.
My son Blair suffers from a very rare genetic disease called hyperimmunglobulinemia D with periodic fever syndrome. HIDS for short.
Currently there are only 300 children in the world with this cruel painful disease.
Blair is currently on extremely painful daily injections of a biologic drug called anakinra. This is helping a little but not enough to be able to attend school for more than a couple of hours a week - if we are lucky.
This medication costs over $20,000 a year.
We are asking for your help to try this drug in an infused state for a month, hopefully being able to top up with the injections when needed, allowing him to have a better quality of life for a little while. Unfortunately anakinra infusion costs a lot more, and this is why we need your help. Blair's rheumatologist, Dr Chaitow, only gave an estimated cost of $60,000.
Please help me, help my son.
